Power Quality Recording to find power grid problems on machines and systems

We carry out power quality recording using the latest measurement technology up to 170 kHz worldwide.

The recorded measurement results are clearly presented in a measurement report.

The resulting findings form the basis for taking measures to ensure a trouble-free power supply.

Thanks to our many years of experience in analysis and problem solving with our own PQ systems, we offer complete concepts for a trouble-free power supply.

Optimale Stromqualität ist die Grundlage für einen störungsfreien, verschleißarmen und energieeffizienten Betrieb elektrischer Anlagen und Geräte.

Power grid problems are very diverse and cause a wide variety of problems such as:

  • Failure of systems
  • Malfunction of control and regulation technology
  • Failure of devices (PCs, UPS systems, air conditioning systems, etc.)
  • Strong heating of busbars and cables (including neutral conductors)
  • Flickering of light
  • Overloading of transformers
  • Failure of frequency converters
  • Defective or unsuitable reactive power compensation systems
  • High transmission losses

Power grid analysis to demonstrate compatibility with standards

In order to provide evidence of compatibility and compliance with the respective valid national or international standards, we can provide proof of this as required.

  • Acceptance of new systems and energy supply networks
  • Evidence for authorities and customers with documentation
  • Evidence in legal disputes

(warranty exclusion in the event of failures due to exceeding network parameters)

Expert report

A publicly appointed and sworn expert for power quality (PQ) can prepare an expert report that can be used as evidence.

Measurement technology Power Quality

We work with the PQ-Box 300, a powerful power grid analyzer of the latest generation

Frequency analysis DC up to 170 kHz

The mobile Power Quality power network analyzer, power meter and transient recorder enables permanent frequency analysis DC up to 170 kHz. The Class A device was developed for measurements in low, medium and high voltage networks and is ideally designed for mobile measurement operations in harsh environments and in very confined spaces. The device also enables an assessment of the voltage quality for public and industrial networks. The device is therefore an indispensable support for analyses in high frequency ranges.
